Quantum Desktop Playback

The Quantum Desktop Playback, QDP^®, provides a complete solution to event recorder data retrieval, analysis, and documentation needs. The QDP^® system allows the user to read, analyze, print, and store the data read from any Quantum Event Recorder as well as those from many other manufactures, thus providing a single program and interface for your Event Recorder data analysis needs.

The QDP^® system can be installed on most IBM compatible desktop or laptop computers running Microsoft Windows 9x/ME, NT 4.x, Windows 2000, or XP. Complete system specifications and recommended hardware can be found here.  

For digitizing Magnetic Tape Cartridges, Quantum Engineering, Inc. produces the Q8011 Portable Tape Reader. This unit's rugged construction and small size makes it ideal for use both in the office and on the scene of an incident for immediate analysis of the data. The portable tape reader has been designed for extremely low power consumption allowing it to be fully operational in the field with the use of a commercially available AC inverter of 50 watts or more.

Memory card data can be read by the QDP^® Data Analysis software using the Quantum  Q8007 or Q8012 Memory Card Reader. Support for a PCMCIA port (normally found on a Laptop Computer) is also provided. Please reference the QDP^® Specifications for information regarding PCMCIA support.
